Engagement approach
From first scoping call to the written pack — how we structure expansion planning and branch review work.
A working rhythm, not a slide theatre
Every engagement follows the same bones so your team knows what happens week by week. The detail changes with estate size; the order does not.
1. Scoping call
We clarify the decision you must make, the capital available, and the date by which landlords, boards, or franchise partners expect an answer. If the question is too wide for one consultation, we say so before you pay a deposit.
2. Information gather
You share store lists, sales by branch, lease end dates, and any agent packs already in play. We sign a straightforward confidentiality note when requested.
3. Field time
Consultants walk the relevant high streets and branches during trading hours that matter for your category — Saturday peaks for fashion, weekday lunch for food-to-go, late evenings where your format depends on them.
4. Challenge session
Findings are pressure-tested with the people who will live with the decision. We expect disagreement; the session exists to surface it while there is still time to adjust recommendations.
5. Written pack
You leave with a document your colleagues can act on: shortlists, rejected options with reasons, and next actions tied to real calendar dates.
When to choose which consultation
| Your situation | Start here |
|---|---|
| Several towns, capital for two or more openings | Retail expansion planning |
| Lease renewals or uneven trading across existing stores | Branch performance review |
| One agent pack, need a quick yes/no | Catchment assessment |
